For AMD 6, I decided to talk to my friend again. I'd say that our conversation is a vast improvement from our first conversation (back in AMD1 time...)!

H: oh ja ich weiss, hast du einen regenschirm?
M: ack, ich habe keinen regenschirm!! ich muss einen regenschirm kaufen...
ah! kauf einen regenschirm für mich..

AHHHHHHH
mir tut kopf weh!!! ich soll schlafen, weil ich müde bin...
H: ah, ja, das ist eine gutes idee.
M: ja, aber ich kann nicht schlafen. ich habe viele hausaufgaben. ich bin dumm! gestern habe ich bis 9 Uhr ferngesehen.
H: das is nicht gut!! wann hast du geschlafen?
M: mm, ich bin um 3 Uhr eingeschlafen... ah ich muss gehen!! tschüss!!

Simpsons Rennt
(Alternative title: Great way to spend ~30 minutes after finish organic chemistry lab early)
Hallo!
Willkommen zu mein fertig blog! (I think I just broke several rules of grammar... :|)
I took the suggestion for the final AMD, and watched the simpsons in German.
From the very beginning, I found I was able to catch much more than I would of been able to from the beginning of the semester. Including Homer going crazy over breakfast, for better or worse. (Aber... das Fruestuck ist nicht lecker :o). After Homer destroyed the robot, he said "Tut mir leid", which is a less formal way of saying I'm sorry. 911 was also said as "Neun eins eins"
Upon going to Moe's (Er hat mehr Bier getrunken!), he used the "du" imperative form to request preservative to keep the thumb fresh. (Aber... kaffee ist nicht gut fuer er gesundheit- das ist nicht die richtig [treatment].
I will acknowledge I did not understand the robot part at all, however.
Upon trying the other links, I found they were kaputt :( (Ah well...)

I listened to music on youtube. I have found a lot of die Prinzen songs helpful to see a lot of what we learn in class in action. The first die Prinzen song I listened to was "Millionar." In a few cases the song uses "doch" which we have used in class. It also uses dativ case by changing mein to meinem.
The second song was "Kussen Verboten," I noticed right off when they used the modal verb "willst" "mich haben" also in the next statement "muss" it put "sagen" to the end. Also, what we just learned with position zero, a clause started with dass and then verb subject..."kann ich." Also it used some dativ prepositions, "bei" which then changed me dativ to "mir." There were other dativ prepositions including nach.
